      First off, I love anything written by Jennifer, so I knew that this was going to be amazing and I was right!!! Wait for You is college/adult book which is genre we'll be seeing a lot this year. This book is amazing. I was hooked from the first page. When I first bought it, I had no idea this it was an adult book, but kept reading because the story was intriguing. There were, of course, some sexy scenes, but Jennifer focused more on the story instead of sex.  Avery, the main character, moved to West Virginia to escape her past in Texas, but eventually and obviously, it comes back to haunt her. Becasuse of what happened to her in Texas, being around guys makes her jumpy and she kind of thinks that they all have some sort of hidden agenda. On her first day, she runs into Cameron, who prefers to be called Cam. He is just.....the most perfect  book boyfriend of all time. I mean he bakes. What more can you ask for in a guy??? Seriously? He's kind of an reformed player who also has a dark past.

     Cameron and Avery are so cute. Their back and forth banter is adorable and made me smile. I was reading this in the front office at school and someone had said something in the book and I remember smiling from ear to ear. The people in the office probably thought that i was weird.  Anyway, not wanting to spoil the rest of the book, I give this 5 out of 5 stars. It's amazing. Also, if you want to read from Cameron's perspective, read Trust In Me. It's book 1.5 of the Wait for You Series which is more like a companion novel series, like Anna and the French Kiss.  The next two books are Be With Me told from Cameron's sister, Teresa's POV. The last one is Stay With Me, told from Avery's best friend, Brittney's POV. Both are released this year.

     Okay….So…This is my review/discussion on Allegiant By Veronica Roth. Obviously, if you haven’t read the whole trilogy, go and read it because I’m about to spoil a whole lot and go on a long rant. Just a warning.

     While reading this, I found out that it was a terrible idea to go on Tumblr, Twitter, and YouTube. People were expressing their opinions and posting their reviews and no one was happy. I kept hearing things about the ending and that people were crying. Curious, I started speed reading. I finally reached the end excited to see what all of the hype was about. I was expecting something truly epic, but that didn't happen. Instead, Tris died and I felt nothing. Totally numb. For about a day until it all started to hit me. It got to the point that every time I thought about it, I wanted to bawl my eyes out. There were too many feels. I felt confused, angry, frustrated, and speechless. 

     To be honest, I thought that the book was boring. Just 526 pages of nonsense just so that the book ended in Tris's death. I'm going to start at the beginning: Tris and Four's POV. I didn't like Four's POV because it was boring and half the time I wouldn't  even know that it was Four until he started complaining about Marcus and Evelyn. 

 And all of that crap about the GP and GD was just so annoying and felt like it had been done in every other cheesy sci-fi movie. When Four fund out that he wasn't Divergent, he started acting like a baby. Okay Four, so you're not Divergent, big deal. You still have Divergent like qualities, that's still pretty cool. (I'm talking to a character, who can't talk back to me. Yeah, I'm sane.) 

     I'm going to end this review right here because if I go on, there will be no stopping me from going on a full rant. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars. I was and still am, disappointed in it. There are good ways and bad ways to end series/trilogy's and this was a bad way. Another example is Requiem by Lauren Oliver. Let me know what you thought and I'll talk to y'all later.

     I have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. I don't hate it, but I don't necessarily love it. But apparently I like it enough to read the rest of the saga. When I first saw this book in Books-A-Million, I walked right past it and bought City of Ashes and Clockwork Angel instead. A month later, I went to a new library, saw this, and picked it up thinking that it was a sign. I ignored it for two weeks and decided to read it during the BookTube-A-Thon.
     I literally spent all day reading it. But before I read it, I had watched a video of someone listing their favorite book characters and the person had said, "I love Ren from Tiger's Curse." I was all like whatever and read it a week later. About 20 pages in Kelsey had nicknamed the tiger Ren and I realized that the story had been ruined for me and I predicted what would happen. I admit, I was tempted to put the book down right then and there, but I kept reading because I was curious about Ren.

      As soon as I started reading I immediately hated Kelsey. I was like, "Who's POV am I reading from? An 8 year old child or an 18 year old teenage girl?" Kelsey's voice is just so childish and so irritating, I just wanted to punch her. And not only did she sound like a child, she asked all kinds of dumbass questions. There were so many awkward sentences, I was thinking why was this book published with so many mistakes. It obviously could have been improved. I just can't stand Kelsey. She's just so annoying and juvenile. I've never hated a main character before, but Kelsey takes the gold. She pushes away not one hot guy, but two: Kishan and Ren. What is her problem??? I have no idea. I just know that she needs to get her mind right and she needs to actually act SMART and stop acting like a child. And what is up with her hair??? It seemed like on every other page, she was playing with her hair. News, flash honey, doing your hair is the least of your problems

 

   Ren
      I have to admit, I do love Ren. He is such a gentleman and I am amazed that he has the patience to put up with Kelsey. There is nothing wrong with Ren at all. He's just perfect. if it wasn't for him, I would have just thrown the damn book at the wall and picked up something else without hesitation. What I don't understand is why Ren loves Kelsey. There is absolutely nothing special about this girl. She acts like a fucking child. I know that I have said this multiple times, but its true.
So all in all, this book was mediocre. It wasn't special at all and the writing was as boring as watching paint dry. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars. I was going to give it 2 stars but decided to be a little generous. I do not like this book, but the story interests me, so I am going to read the second book. I just hope that the second one is a hell of a lot better than this one.

     *CAUTION. MAJOR SPOILERS!!* I finished this book 2 or 3 days ago (I read this sometime in July) and I will admit that it took me a while to actually get into it. I actually tried to avoid reading it, by reading 6 other books on my road trip. But I'll talk about those books later. Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love the Mortal Instruments, its just that the beginning of these books are always just a little slow.  All in all,when I started to get towards the middle,  there were parts of the story that had me yelling.
     One part that had me yelling was when Magnus, Alec, Isabelle, Simon, and Chairman Meow were in Magnus's apartment and Chairman Meow jumped into to pentagram with Azazel and Simon jumped in also. I screamed so loud until I remembered that Simon had the Mark of Cain. And then Cassandra Clare had to go and be a jerk and take away Simons mark because the angel Raziel was greedy and PMSy. THAT got me upset. I was all like "What? What? No. She can't do that. Its Simon." But she did and I don't like it. You know who's going to go and kill him as soon as they find out that he doesn't have the mark??? Raphael. That vampire that wanted to hire Simon as a bodyguard. He said that he'd be first in line when the Mark came off. And I'm pretty sure that he's the kind of guy who always keeps his word. I love Simon. If something terrible happens to him..... I don't know how I'm going to deal with that.
     Two other moments that had me screaming was when Clary's Mom was saying that she and Jace weren't meant to be together. I mean seriously... I know that you don't like the guy, but damn. There's no need to be such a bitch about it. She seriously needs to stop comparing him to Valentine. He's not even his son. Then there was the part where Magnus broke up with Alec. I understand why he broke up with Alec, I would too if I was him, but I just wasn't expecting it to happen so soon. I wasn't mentally prepared for it.  
     *CAUTION. MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ CLOCKWORK PRINCESS. I'M SERIOUS.*  Okay. So.... Everytime that Brother Zachariah was mentioned I squealed because I was all like "I know who that is!!! It's Jem. One person that majorly pissed me off was Maryse Lightwood. Brother Zachariah was mentioning how Jace was related to Will Herondale and she yells that Jace isn't a Herondale. He's a Lightwood. Bitch....Dude, he's related to him no matter what. You can't just yell and have it not be true. Grow up Maryse.
     Don’t even get me started on Sebastian. I mean, you have to admit that you must have felt a little sympathy for him and you might have believed that he was becoming a little bit of a nice person. I know I did. But then he just had to go and be a dick...asshole... jerk and open his mouth. I really wished that he would have been captured or killed, but obviously that can't happen because there needs to be an evil villain now that Valentine is actually and officially dead now.
     While watching CassJayTuck a BookTuber's review of City of Lost Souls, she pointed out that the whole book was centered around Jace and I didn't realize that until she said that. She also said that we learn from this book in particular that we all realize how serious Jace and Clary's love is. They literally can't live without each other. It isn't that teenage puppy love in those contemporary books. They truly love each other and I guess that now we all know how serious that love is and that they'll go to extreme lengths to find each other. It's actually kind of cute. 
     All in all, I think that book is just absolutely amazing and it gives us  more insight on Clary and Jace's relationship, plus Clary and her mom.  give this book 4 out of 5 stars. I originally gave it 5 out of 5,  but I just hate Sebastian so much, I changed it. Weird reason, I know.
